The story of Jesus doesn’t end with Jesus. It continues in the lives of those who believe in him. The supernatural does not stop with Jesus. Luke makes it clear that these Christians he wrote about were not more spectators of Jesus than Jesus was a spectator of God- they are in on the action of God, God acting in them, God living in them. Which also means, of course, in us.
The book of Acts narrates the explosion of the early Christian movement across the ancient world. This summer at Liberti, we’ll be listening to the story of the early Church in Acts, as the Gospel transforms people, creates compelling communities, renews entire cities, turns the world upside down. So whether you’re a longtime Christian or you’re just beginning to get curious about what Christianity is, join us this summer to experience the story of Jesus, and the movement of Jesus, turning your world upside down.
