EMMANUEL -Every Saturday 10 - 3 PM

Emmanuel moving to every week. Our ministry to our homeless friends is moving to every week. We meeting on Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Liberti partners with First Baptist Church to reach out to our homeless friends and neighbors in Center City. We cook, serve and eat a meal together. We provide a reflection on a Scripture passage and seek to offer time to build relationships and relax in a safe environment To sign up click here! Or for more details email Matt Soldano

SMALL FRY, Every Saturday  11 AM - 2 PM

Small Fry kicked off this fall semester.  One of our ministry partners Small Fry who teaches kids and their families in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood to cook and prepare healthy and affordable snacks and meals on a low-income budget. Resumes there fall semester on September 24 volunteers arrive at 11 call runs from 12pm-2pm. More info or to sign up email Alissa MCLaughlin

 

HALLOWEEN

SMALL FRY HALLOWEEN 10/29  12 PM - 2 PM
One of our ministry partners Small Fry who teaches children and their parents how to cook healthy meals using easily obtainable and inexpensive ingredients. They are hosting a harvest party with crafts, pumpkin decorating, costume contests and healthy snacks. There will be a Halloween themed movie with a S'mores bar and freshly popped popcorn. HAWTHORNE PARK HALLOWEEN PARTY 10/31    5:30 - 7:30 PM                               
Come join us at Hawthorne Park located at 12th and Catherine on halloween as we enjoy food, candy, face painting, customs and more. This is a great way to get out into our community and meet some new friends and neighbors. This event is in partnership with the friends of hawthorne park society. We need plenty of volunteer to face paint, serve food, help with games, and many more activities contact

THANKSGIVING

SMALL FRY THANKSGIVING 11/19  12 - 2 PM                                        
This year, one of our ministry partners Small Fry who teaches children and their parents how to cook healthy meals using easily obtainable and inexpensive ingredients will be cooking up a healthy turkey dinner with kids and parents, and sending them home with the ingredients to make it again on Thanksgiving day! Lend a hand by volunteering at Small Fry (Marian Anderson Rec. Center, 17th & Fitzwater Sts.) on Saturday, November 19 from 12 PM - 2 PM, or by donating money to help with the cost of the meal. BETHESDA PROJECT THANKSGIVING LUNCH  11/20 11:30 - 1 PM                             
Come join us as we share a special meal for Thanksgiving at Bethesda Projects Sanctuary which is supportive housing community for 16 formerly homeless men in recovery (at 816 South 20th Street).email Krista Lia at: kristadedrick@gmail.com

EMMANUEL THANKSGIVING BREAKFAST  Thursday 11/24                                                          
Join our homeless neighbors for a Thanksgiving breakfast at First Baptist Church in Center City (17th & Sansom Sts.). Volunteers are needed on Wednesday, November 23, from 12 PM - 3 PM to help prep food and set up the dining room. Then, on Thursday, November 24, arrive between 5:30 AM and 8 AM to help prepare food, set up, and serve breakfast. For more details, and to sign up, please Matt Soldano
 

CITY TEAM FOOD BOX PACKING 11/15 6:30-8:30                                                                    Located in the heart of Chester, PA, CityTeam serves those in desperate need throughout the Delaware Valley.  This Thanksgiving, CityTeam will be delivering meals to families in need. The meals include a turkey and all the fixings to celebrate Thanksgiving as family. Volunteers are needed to help deliver the meals on Saturday, November 15, at. For more information, and to sign up, please email Vito

PRISON TEAM
The team meets in Philly on third Sundays and travels together to the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility, to host a worship service for the men there from 6PM-10PM . The time is uniquely structured to involve singing and praise, sharing personal stories of faith, and an interactive sermon. For more information, please contact Dan Salazar.
