We who have seen the light of Christ are obliged,

by the greatness of the grace that has been given us,

to make known the presence of the Savior to the ends of the earth…

not only by preaching the glad tidings of His coming;

but above all by revealing Him in our lives…

Every day of our mortal lives must be His manifestation,

His divine Epiphany, in the world which He has created and redeemed.

-Thomas Merton

“I had an epiphany.”  We employ this phrase to describe some surprising insight or sudden revelation; the Christian Church uses this word to describe the surprising revelation of Jesus to the world, the sudden appearing of his wisdom, mission, and message.  During this season in the year, Liberti will be inhabiting several of Jesus’ “firsts”: his first public appearance, first miracle, first sermon.  Plan on joining us if you’re someone who’s exploring faith, so that you can experience the epiphany of understanding Jesus’ mission.  And plan on joining us if you’re a follower of Jesus so that you can plumb the depths of his message and agenda- and thus, ours too.
