EMMANUEL HOMELESS MINISTRY
Twice a month, we partner with the congregation of First Baptist Church to serve a meal to our homeless neighbors, and to provide a safe and comfortable space for them here in our building. This summer and fall, Emmanuel will take place at St. Mark’s Church (1625 Locust St.) while our kitchen and dining hall are under construction. This transition means that we need volunteers now more than ever! This is a great way to serve one of our city’s deepest needs, and is also a good way to meet new people and get connected at Liberti. If you are interested in learning more about Emmanuel, please email emmanuelministryliberti@gmail.com.

SUMMER CONVERSATIONS WITH JARED

Join us on Wednesday, July 15 at Hubub Coffee (232 N. Radnor Chester Rd., Wayne) for the second night of our “Summer Conversations” series. This is an informal time to get together and hear from our preaching pastor Jared Ayers. And, there will be free coffee!

MAIN LINE MOVIE NIGHT
Liberti is sponsoring a free community movie night at Harcum College (750 Montgomery Ave, Bryn Mawr) on Friday, July 17. We’ll have snacks and activities beginning at 7:00 PM, and the movie - Frozen - will begin at sundown. We’ll need volunteers to help setup, tear-down, and lead activities, and we’ll also need everyone to invite friends and neighbors - this is a great way to reach out to our community!

CHOC BBQ
Join us after church on Sunday, July 19, when Liberti serves a picnic meal to the people residing in CHOC - the Coordinated Homeless Outreach Center - in Norristown. We’ll gather around 2:00 PM to visit with the residents there and put together a meal they don’t usually get - hamburgers and hotdogs cooked on the grill, fresh salads and fruit. We need folks to help put the meal together, hang out with the residents, serve, and clean up. We'll be ready to head home by 5:00 PM. For more info, or to sign up, email Barb Delp.
